Nicotiana glauca is a species of wild tobacco, native to South America. 

Contains the toxic alkaloid nicotine. 
All parts of the plant are poisonous. 

Nicotiana glauca is an evergreen Shrub growing to 3 m. 

It is in flower from Aug to October, and the seeds ripen from Sep to October. 
The flowers are hermaphrodite (have both male and female organs). 

Suitable for: light (sandy), medium (loamy) and heavy (clay) soils and prefers well-drained soil. 

It cannot grow in the shade. It prefers moist soil. 

All parts of the plant contain toxic  nicotine, this can been extracted and used as an insecticide
