Native to the Canary Islands and now endangered in its natural habitat, the Dragon Tree is one of the world’s most unique and grand feature trees.

This tree is the natural symbol of the island of Tenerife.

Allow the plants to dry between waterings, but not completely.

These are more susceptible to root rot, so be very careful never to allow them to sit in water.

It's called a Dragon's Blood Tree, because the red latex material is excised and mixed with another compound to make the red lustre varnish used to coat violins.
