Attractive evergreen shrub.

Oleander has a broad native base stretching from Morocco to Portugal and throughout the Mediterranean region.

Oleanders bloom from summer to fall, with fragrant flowers.

Select a site with full sun to light shade and well-drained soil.

Prune oleander after the main bloom period to encourage bushier growth and more flowers, and to reduce the size of the shrub.

It is vigorous and enjoys low maintenance.

Pruning can be fun and it is best done in September or early October.
